The Red Tent Theme of Gender

Back in the ol' Bronze Age of The Red Tent, the barrier between men and women was much more prominent, as men and women had their own unique functions in society, and people pretty much abided by these rules. Nowadays these gender norms aren't so fixed, but back then, women were pretty used to being treated as inferior, and the men were pretty used to being held to a manly standard.
