Your work may stand for generations. Long after you're standing. Everyone who passes by will see it and admire it. Some may salute by whizzing on the back alley, but at this point it's out of your hands.
Even if you don't create the eighth wonder of the world, you'll be designing homes, offices, and other structures that will house families and businesses. You'll be providing a valuable service and can feel good about that as well. Just don't get too big a head or it won't be able to fit through those ridiculously narrow doorways you created.
