Fame
Most coders never know fame. They spend their days crouched over their keyboards beneath fluorescent lights, identifying and fixing bugs while wishing they'd pursued careers as superheroes instead.
This isn't to say that coders can't make it big. Of course they can. Haven't you ever heard of Bill Gates?
