If you want a good shot at getting in, you really do need to get that education requirement filled. Even better is hands- and brains-on experience in the industry. If you get into a hotel with a job managing events or human resources, you'll be much more likely to work up to the top management position—and the big-boss pants that go along with it.
Get some management notches on your belt and you'll be able to make those pants fit.
