Physical Danger
As a pathologist, you're not going to face the same kind of physical danger as a lion tamer or even a high school P.E. teacher. You'll be mostly tucked away in your sterile lab and, unless there's a natural disaster of some kind, you'll probably be alright. However, just because you're not in the line of fire doesn't mean that there aren't any dangers that go along with the job.
For one, the mental stress involved can quickly translate into real-deal physical problems. Also, you're constantly dealing with samples that are possibly diseased or infectious. If you're a good pathologist, you'll use all the right safety stuff—gloves, masks, and goggles—but with that much exposure to gnarly germs, there's certainly a risk of you becoming a patient yourself.
