Pre-Roadkill: Driving Near Animals

Ever seen a smashed squirrel or crushed Cockapoo (it’s a breed of dog, relax) in the middle of the road? Sad, right? Let’s not have something like that on your conscience.

If you see any animals in the area, slow down. If there are livestock in your path, and someone is there to move them out of the way—pay attention, because this will probably happen to you all the time—, follow their directions and only proceed when it is safe to do so. Unless you forgot to stop at the store to pick up dinner and one of those cows looks particularly delicious.
