Identification (ID) Card
If you’re not quite ready, old enough, or in the market for a driver’s license but would still like to be able to prove to people that you exist, you can apply for a state-issued ID card. To get one of these bad boys, you must be 15 years of age or older, and you need to present your social security number and an official document showing your birth date to your Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. It’ll cost you 12 whole dollars, it will be valid for four years. If you’re under 15, you’ll be able to get Child ID card, but it costs a whopping $4, so start saving your pennies.
