Big Five Personality Model

A test of personality. Unlike MBTI, science types like the Big Five. It even has a cool-ish name. It measures five areas: extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and openness to experience.

Here’s what they mean:

- Extraversion: Tendency to get out there, talk to people, assert yourself, etc.
- Agreeableness: Whether or not a person plays well with others.
- Conscientiousness: Whether or not a person is trustworthy or reliable.
- Emotional Stability: The level to which a person has self-control or is completely off his rocker.
- Openness to experience: The level to which a person is willing to get involved in a variety of things...as opposed to someone who is stuffy and sticks with the same-old, same-old.
