Business Logic

Business Logic doesn't necessarily mean you are a logical business owner, although that's the ideal.

This refers to the rules (algorithms) that a computer program uses to help the business, well...do business. This is the piece of the program that measures exactly what that individual business needs in order for it to thrive.

So if you own a delivery business, some of your business logic might be how long it takes you to make deliveries, how many are on time or late, etc. If you own an accounting group, you might need to measure your Accounts Recievable and Payable. Business Logic is the part of the computer program that helps you to tailor the program to measure those things.
