Venture Capitalist

A "VC" makes extremely risky early investment in young companies that often have little to no revenues, an unproven business plan, and nothing more than a cool idea and wicked horsepower founder talent. In a portfolio of 100 investments, a relatively good VC will expect 70 of them to go fully bankrupt, 25 of them to give them a 1-2x return on their money, 3 to make 25x and 2 to make 100x or more.
