Alex might be the anti-est antihero of all. If you find yourself rooting for him during the first half of the movie, we have a straitjacket and some films for you to watch.

But because he is our narrator, he constantly persuades the audience to come over to his side. In the end, he finds himself the object of favorable public opinion, and an unwitting champion for free will and choice for all, even the most despicable criminals.
