Jake West

Jake's not only the cutest guy at Raynesville High, he's also our protagonist. Or one of them, anyway. At the start of the story, he's been through a rough year thanks to everyone blaming him for Amy's death, but we're always pulling for him to come out on top… and maybe even snag a date with the hot new girl in the process. You know, if he has some free time after swim practice and horseback riding.

Dani Spencer

Dani is our heroine and one-half of our dynamic protagonist team. She sort of bursts onto the scene in Raynesville and makes a big splash right away. She's close to Amy, so we really feel for her during her sad times, and we also agree with her that's there's definitely something fishy about Amy's supposed suicide. She really should get to the bottom of that whole thing…
