Jake

Both Amy and Dani (and seemingly every other hot-blooded female around) have major crushes on Jake. The guy is not only super hot, he's often spotted riding on horseback. In this book at least, ladies really melt for horses. After Amy dies, Dani is pretty confused about her feelings for Jake. Is she a traitor for liking him? In the end, she decides to go for it. We kind of think Amy wouldn't mind.

Dani

Obviously Jake is head-over-heels for Dani, but she's also the object of affection for just about every guy in school. Jake has some mixed feelings about pursuing Dani, though. Surely she won't want to date the guy who drove her cousin/best friend to suicide, right? Luckily, everyone finds out the truth and Jake and Dani can live happily ever after. Phew.
