Calogero is kind of head-over-heels for this girl, and she flirts with him too, teasing him and making witty remarks. Luckily for Calo, Patricia likes him back, and gives him his first kiss, followed by a few more over the course of the book. Even though Patricia likes him, she isn't about to fall over her own feet to be with him, like he would to be with her. He wants to tell her his heart is all hers, but she is keeping hers locked up safe for now.
