- We meet Margaret. We know she's almost twelve, she just moved from New York to Farbrook, New Jersey and that she talks to God.
- Margaret's family made the big decision to move from happening New York to sleepy Morningbird lane without her input, and she's not sure why, though she thinks it might have something to do with her overly-involved Grandma Sylvia.
- Grandma Sylvia hasn't made an actual appearance yet, but we do know she makes awesome sounding sweaters with special labels that say "Made Expressly for You… by Grandma" (1.7). Sounds good to us.
- Also, whether or not Margaret's non-existent boyfriends are Jewish or not is apparently quite important.
