- March 8th is a big day: It's Margaret's birthday, and she turns twelve. So you know what that means: time to start wearing deodorant. (You thought it meant cake, didn't you? Silly.)
- It's not as good a birthday as it could be though, because Mr. Benedict starts the class on committee work, and won't let them choose their own committees—so Margaret ends up on a committee with Laura Danker, Philip Leroy, and Norman Fishbein. Thanks for nothing, Mr. B.
