Well, this ending tells us that the story is most about being satisfied with what you have… and not making everyone else have a heart attack running around to change the weather for you. All of the other morals come out of this one. After all, Bartholomew wouldn't have to be that assertive in the first place if the King could be reasonable once in a while.
