General Andres Villiers Timeline & Summary

In the 50s and 60s Villiers was a general involved in the Algerian War. He breaks with French President Charles de Gaulle when de Gaulle moves to get France out of Algeria.
Villiers's son becomes a right-wing politician.
Villiers's son is killed by Carlos with a planted bomb.
Villiers becomes a politician to take his son's place.
Villiers marries Angélique, who is actually Carlos's cousin and lover.
Bourne contacts Villiers, and the two discover that Angélique is a plant using Villiers's house as a contact point for Carlos.
Villiers spies on his wife for a while, then kills her.
Villiers agrees to let Bourne take the blame for the murder of Angélique in order to flush out Carlos. He also helps Bourne get a flight to New York so that he can confront Carlos.
Marie contacts Villiers and explains that Bourne is sacrificing himself to get Carlos. Villiers and Marie go to the American embassy and tell them the whole story.
