Lubov or Lopakhin

If you think of Lubov as the protagonist, then Lopakhin could be seen as the antagonist. The reverse also holds true. It's true that their clashes are relatively indirect and amicable, but they are working for opposing objectives in the play and have very different ideas about what should be done with the cherry orchard.
