Character Analysis
Yep, Junior's house is as crooked as a Tim Burton set. So is he, as it turns out.
In Burton, all that crookedness usually means lovable quirkiness. In Junior, it just means trouble. Not only did he shoot his own mother, according to his wife, but also Junior betrays Inman to the Home Guard. His role in the story is to illustrate the kind of betrayal that Inman experiences on the road, where you can't trust everyone…not even after you've helped them.
