Maybe you're a little confused about how elements of Kristina's personality can be the story's antagonist, but think about it—if the antagonist's job is to keep the protagonist from getting what she wants, Bree keeps Kristina stuck in her patterns of sex and drug use by persuading her that being Bree is her only way out. That she happens to also be part of Kristina is only a detail; her impact is purely antagonistic. Bree is a dangerous defense mechanism that Kristina falls back on when she feels inadequate or lonely.
