Your Field Guide to Spotting Demeter (Ceres)
Oh, you're looking for Demeter? She's the pretty lady over there in the field, with the beautiful robes and the wheat in her hair. Most of the time, she's a really nice goddess – emphasis on most of the time. During the winter, you might spot her in a cranky mood because her daughter, Persephone, has to go stay with Hades in the land of the dead. It kind of stinks that the whole world has to be plunged into winter because Demeter is bummed out, but hey, that's the way it goes. Either way, you might want to stick to looking for her in the spring.
