If you're a fellow of the land, then you ought to be able to stand on those two feet just fine. When it comes to democracy, if one person has rights, everyone has those same rights, no matter what kind of land we're talking about—even Cleveland. (Just kidding, Cleveland.)

People with rights love saying, "let things take their course," since they already have their freedom. No need for the rush. But those without those same rights get pretty tired of hearing all of the procrastinators… and their idioms.

It rhymes and it makes perfect sense. Citizens living in the same place ought to have freedom just like everybody else. Wanting freedom is just as natural as wanting bread to eat and air to breathe.
