Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill)’s Timeline and Summary

Luke's hiding on the planet Hoth with the Rebel Alliance when he gets a vision of his dead mentor Obi-Wan telling him to go to the planet Dagobah and train to be a Jedi.
After fighting Imperial forces, he does. He begins training with Yoda, but it's clear that he has a lot to learn.
Luke has a premonition of his friends in danger and leaves for Cloud City to rescue them, despite Yoda's objections.
There, Luke fights Vader, who cuts off his hand and reveals that he is Luke's father.
Luke jumps away from Vader and is saved by Leia in the Millennium Falcon.
They rendezvous with the fleet and Luke gets a new artificial hand.
