Case File: Loki's Monstrous Brood
Police Reports
Case description: Fenrir charged Odin and Týr with false imprisonment, alleging that they tricked him into wearing an unbreakable fetter, then chained it to a rock on an island in the middle of a lake.
Case status: Fenrir and Týr pled guilty as charged, but received no punishment. The court concluded that given his enormous size, and because prophecies said that Fenrir would cause trouble during Ragnarök, Odin and Týr acted in the best interests of divinity in chaining the wolf.
