Nemo (Alexander Gould)’s Timeline and Summary
- Before Nemo's born, his fin is damaged in a barracuda attack that kills his mom and siblings.
- On Nemo's first day of school, Nemo's psyched, but his dad is über panicky. As usual.
- At school, Nemo makes some friends. They head to the Drop Off to explore and Nemo and his new friends wander off. They spot a boat and the kids try to swim out to it a little. Dangerous…
- Just then, Marlin rushes up to Nemo in a panic. He tells his son that he's done with school. Seriously? Parents just don't understand. Nemo knows he can do stuff so he swims out to touch the boat. Dad is ticked.
- As Nemo swims back, a diver suddenly appears and scoops Nemo up in a bag. Eek! Nemo gets tossed in a cooler as the boat speeds away.
- Later, Nemo finds out he's been fish-napped by a dentist who's brought him to Sydney to live in his tank with a whole bunch of other tropical fish. One by one, Nemo meets the Tank Gang and they're all pretty awesome.
- Nemo also learns that he's going to be heading home with Darla, the dentist's niece, in a few days. This is bad because Darla is a straight up fish murderer.
- The Tank Gang wakes Nemo up at night for an initiation. The other fish nickname him Sharkbait and offer to help save him from Darla. Gill's plan is simple. Nemo will swim up into the filter and clog it with a pebble. But, the pebble comes loose and Nemo's almost chopped to bits. Mission not accomplished,
- One day, Nigel the pelican comes to the window and tells Nemo that his dad's looking for him. This is just the motivation Nemo needs. He swims back into the filter again and clogs it up. Now they just have to wait for it to get dirty. Then, the dentist will take them out and they can escape.
- But, two days later, when the fish wake up expecting to be taken out of the tank, the dentist has cleaned it with a high-powered filter instead. Oh, and Darla is there.
- Nemo quickly plays dead hoping the dentist will flush him down the toilet, but he doesn't. When Nigel bursts into the dentist's office, it's just the diversion he needs.
- But, right before Nigel gets kicked out, Nemo sees his dad in the bird's mouth.
- Gill helps Nemo get flushed down the dentist's drain and he winds up in Sydney Harbour where he finds Dory.
- Eventually Dory remembers who Nemo is and takes him to his dad.
- But, then Dory gets swept up in a fisherman's net. Nemo can save her. He just needs his dad's help. Nemo frees Dory and all the other fish, too.
- Nemo heads back to his home in the Great Barrier Reef with his dad and Dory where they all live out their days together. Awww!
