James Bond (Sean Connery)’s Timeline and Summary
- With a bird on his head, Bond swims into a drug den and blows it up. Good thing no one decided to play Duck Hunt today.
- On vacation—blowing up a heroin den really takes it out of a guy—Bond is summoned by M to foil a con artist's plot.
- The greasy gambler is Auric Goldfinger, and Bond throws a wrench into his gambling scheme…and steals the guy's girlfriend, Jill Masterson.
- In retaliation, Goldfinger kills Jill and paints her gold.
- Bond is then tasked with discovering how Goldfinger is able to smuggle gold across international borders.
- Bond tracks Goldfinger to Geneva, where he is shot at by a beautiful woman. Bond is intrigued.
- The woman turns out to be Tilly Masterson, Jill's sister, who wants revenge.
- Before she can get it, the two are captured by Goldfinger's men. Tilly is killed by Oddjob, Goldfinger's henchman.
- Goldfinger tortures Bond, threatening to turn him from a gander to a goose with one shot of his laser—but Bond talks him out of it.
- Bond is transferred to Goldfinger's horse farm in Kentucky on a private jet piloted by the one-and-only Pussy Galore.
- In Kentucky, Bond learns Goldfinger's plan—to nuke Fort Knox, destroying the U.S. gold supply and increasing the value of his own gold.
- Bond seduces Pussy and convinces her to sabotage Goldfinger's plan.
- At Fort Knox, the military swoops in to capture Goldfinger, but Bond is locked in the vault with the nuke and Oddjob.
- Bond kills Oddjob in a shocking fight, and the bomb is defused.
- Aboard a private jet to have lunch with the president, Bond is attacked by Goldfinger.
- Goldfinger's finger triggers his golden gun, blowing open a window, and Goldfinger is sucked out of the jet.
- Pussy and Bond make a crash landing, and enjoy a bit of, um, solitude before being rescued.
