Let's Define Some Terms…
- There are two terms defined in section two. The first is "defense article."
- "Defense article," for the purposes of this law, is a term that includes weapons, ammo, planes, boats, and "vessels," which covers any kind of vehicle.
- It also includes anything related or necessary to make, support, repair, and operate those things.
- It also includes anything deemed necessary for defense, like food, or special commodities like rubber. Basically anything.
- The second defined term is "defense information," which means plans, specifications, and information necessary for the "defense articles" to be used. Like instruction manuals for planes. Or designs for new landing boats. Again, basically anything.
