Um… Trina?

Trina isn't really a protagonist. A protagonist is the hero of the story, the one we root for, and we don't really root for Trina—we just don't want her to get jumped. And she has no control over that, since she doesn't know about Dominique's intention. If we had to pick a protagonist, it would be the abstract idea of "Doing the Right Thing." But under that scenario, in this novel, the protagonist loses big time. Like, they don't ever even really get to show up.
