Billy

Ted's initiation into fatherhood—for realsies fatherhood—is a trial by fire, so to speak. Maybe it's more like a trial by ice cream. Billy doesn't set out to show Ted the ropes of being a parent, but he does nonetheless. Billy teaches Ted what Billy needs. Oddly enough, what Billy needs is the same things that all kids need, things like love, attention, patience, guidance, and the occasional line-reading at a Halloween pageant.
