Ted

Ted's our main man. He's the one who we watch grow from a self-centered workaholic and absentee husband and father into a loving, engaged dad. While the narrative's careful not to pass judgment on either parent, we watch things unfold from his point of view, too. We have no idea what Joanna's up to while she's out west and, frankly, it doesn't matter what she's up to because we're riding shotgun with Ted as he figures out this whole parenting thing.
