Referring to the Loki character in the popular Marvel Comics series Thor, videogame and multimedia website IGN named Loki the #8 greatest comic book villain of all time. Based on Loki's prominence and popularity, they surmise that he is "a character that writers must simply love to write" (source). We agree.

Actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the May 2011 feature film Thor, based on the Marvel comic book series of the same name, calls his character "a comic book version of Edmund in King Lear, but nastier" (source).

Loki is the name of an Internet product that allows you to "automatically incorporate [your computer's] exact physical location into your Internet experience."
