Mia Winchell

Our leading lady and narrator, Mia, is our protagonist. Not only is she the main character, she's the one we're rooting for in the book. Plus she goes through a massive change in her life in the time that we get to know her. She starts out as self-conscious and secretive about her condition, but learns to share her colors with those around her. By the end of the book, she's a little closer to figuring out who she is. Yep, she's our protagonist.
