Bronwyn Bruntley

Character Analysis

Brute Force

Bronwyn is the strong-girl who puts the brawn in Bronwyn. All the peculiar children have a superpower, and hers is brute strength. She's a key part of the team at the end of the book because of this, as well as the fact that she's a loyal companion. As Emma puts it, "She's got a massive heart and she'd go to the grave for her mates" (7.42). Nice to meet you, then, Bronwyn. Let's be friends for life. Without Bronwyn tearing a steel door off a shipwreck and using it as a shield, the kids would probably have never gotten to Golan and rescued Miss Peregrine.
