Even though she's dead, Aunt May still acts as the guiding star in Uncle Ob and Summer's lives. By living a life of love and selflessness, her memory guides Uncle Ob and Summer in how they should act and the decisions they make. Her presence is also still around for both of them—and that helps them to feel comforted and strong. With the lasting effects of Aunt May's love and her presence, Uncle Ob and Summer are able to dust themselves off and continue thriving, even without her around.
