Timeline and Summary

Oedipus shows up in Athens with Antigone and realizes it’s his prophesied final resting place.
He asks the King of Athens to let him hang out, and he agrees.
When Creon kidnaps his daughters, Oedipus asks Theseus for help and gets them back.
Oedipus rejects his son, Polyneices’ attempt to take back Thebes together.
The old man leads his entourage out into the wilderness, where the earth swallows him up and his tomb becomes an offering to Athens.
