Skin
- Remember way back in the first chapter when Billie Jo told us that skin cancer runs in her dad's family? It's looking like the family might have another problem on their hands: suspicious spots are showing up on her father's skin.
- Her father, though, doesn't seem to be concerned—in fact, Billie Jo says he isn't even really paying attention. She wonders why he isn't calling the doctor to get it taken care of, which is kind of a mystery to us, too.
- Things are bad… but are they really that bad?
