Exactly how steamy is this story?

No Sex Please, We're Iranian
The Iran portions of the novel, at the beginning and end, feature little to no sex at all. It's amazing they reproduce at all, what with being forced to wear black clothing from head to toe. (It's even more amazing they don't pass out from heat stroke, though.)
But all gloves (and all clothes) are off when Marjane moves to Vienna. Her roommate Julie is a sexually liberated woman, telling Marjane all sorts of nicknames for her private parts, and even parading around naked with a man during a party. This kind of nudity is a lot for Marjane to take in. Side boob is pretty extreme for someone who comes from a country where you can't even display a little side ankle.
