Pinocchio (Dickie Jones)’s Timeline and Summary

Pinocchio's brought to life by the Blue Fairy, but is told that he needs to prove his moral worth before she turns him into a human.
A cricket named Jiminy is made his conscience.
While going to his first day of school, Pinocchio is tricked by two con-men named Honest John and Gideon into becoming an actor for a puppeteer named the Great Stromboli.
Stromboli locks Pinocchio in a cage after his performance, and Jiminy is unable to free him.
The Blue Fairy rescues them.
While on his way home, Pinocchio is once again tricked by John and Gideon. They tell him to go to a place called Pleasure Island.
There, Pinocchio indulges in vices like smoking and drinking.
He realizes that all of the boys are turning into donkeys. A donkey's ears and tail sprout from his body.
Jiminy rescues him at the last minute and they swim home.
Geppetto isn't home, and they receive a letter saying that he was swallowed by a whale named Monstro. They head into the ocean to find him.
Pinocchio is swallowed by Monstro.
Pinocchio and Geppetto reunite and create a plan: they'll create so much smoke that Monstro will be forced to cough and expel them.
Their plan works.
Geppetto's raft is destroyed, and Pinocchio is killed dragging Geppetto to safety.
After they return home, the Blue Fairy brings Pinocchio back to life and transforms him into a real boy.
