Case description: Rhiannon charges Pwyll with cruelty. He was tricked into betrothing her to a nasty guy named Gwawl, son of Clud, when all she really wanted was handsome Pwyll himself. Pwyll promised to give Gwawl anything he wants—within reason—and the bad boy chose Rhiannon.
Case status: Settled. Pwyll dressed up as a beggar on the first anniversary of Gwawl's request and tricked Gwawl into getting into a human-size bag. In order to get out, Gwawl had to promise to leave Rhiannon alone.
