Scylla Gossip
Spotted... on Mount Olympus or Asgard. xoxo Gossip Shmoop
There's a genus of crab named after Scylla. (This is why Scylla never eats crab cakes.)
In an episode of Prison Break, Scylla shows up and eats a bunch of inmates. (Not really. There is an episode named after the sea monster, though.)
If you ever hear somebody say, "I'm caught between Scylla and Charybdis," it means they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. It also means they're kind of a dork. (Source.)
Scilla is the name of a town in Italy where legend says that Scylla used to hang out and eat passing sailors. Apparently, the sea monster has found somewhere else to chill, though, because the town is now super popular with tourists.
