  1. A Woman Worth Knowing
As a novelist, Jane Austen remains a sensation in today's society. Although she lived about 200 years ago, her legacy remains stronger than ever. Although her six novels were almost all based on marriage, we have to allow her to pull the "everyone in 19th-century England was obsessed with it" card. She herself never married, but she sure saw the double standards and made shrewd (and hilarious) commentary on humanity as a whole. Get to know this awesome lady of literature.

  2. Pride and Prejudice
You have to hand it to Jane Austen. She loved examining humanity's shortcomings: pride, prejudice, sense, and sensibility. (She also loved making these points very clear in the titles, apparently.) Pride and Prejudice is a great comparison story to Sense and Sensibility for your Austen fans. It's another great story about marriage and women who are bold enough to challenge the status quo.
