Woe Is Us
- Our story begins in a quiet little Japanese village, which has been having some troubles with the local yoyos. The leaders of said yoyos decides to come back in the fall, when they've harvested their crops, and take it from them.
- The peasants, upset and in full-bore freak-out mode, debate what to do. Manzo (Kamatair Fuji Wara) thinks that more groveling will save them, but Rikichi (Yoshio Tsuchiya) is ready to rumble.
- The village elder Gisaku (Kokuten Kodo) suggests hiring samurai to fight for them, though the samurai would have to work for food.
- Everyone seems to like the idea. Rikichi, Manzo, and a couple of their buddies head for the nearest hive of scum and villainy.
