Matt's our main man. He's the butter on our toast, the apple of our eye, the… okay, we'll stop there. In short, not only is Matt the character whose thoughts and feelings we know, but he's also a nice kid who deserves to succeed. In other words, not only do we spend the whole book with him, we also cross our fingers that things will work out for him in the end.
