Protagonist
Character Role Analysis
Robin (Birdy) Perry
Birdy's our man: he's telling the story as he sees it, describing everyone who interacts with him.
But he's kind of an observer, too. He doesn't speak a lot—the dialogue is usually what people are saying around him, rather than a conversation he's having with them. He keeps his thoughts to himself. So Birdy's the type of protagonist that observes the world and describes it to readers, rather than a character who captures all the attention.
