Taweret (Opet)'s Clique: Child Care Club
Someone has to watch over the younger kids on the playground. These gods and goddesses will get up in your grill if you mess with any of the little ones. Taweret's been watching out for bullies and jerks for a long time, too.
Isis
Taweret's fellow Egyptian goddess Isis really does love children, though she loves Horus the Younger best. Not surprising, since he's her son. Anybody who prays to Isis for a child's health or protection will get it, though. Guaranteed.
Demeter
This Greek goddess got so angry when Hades kidnapped her daughter Persephone that she made winter happen. (No joke.) So you know she's going to make sure nobody else's kids are going to be in danger. As long as she's not moping in her room over Persephone's absence, anyhow.
Parvati
This Hindu goddess can be kind and beautiful, as long as nobody's hurting her children. You don't want to see her when she's angry. People (or demons or other gods or…you get the idea) get hurt.
