Mrs. Tristram

A lightbulb goes off in Mrs. Tristram's head when Newman says he wants a wife. Basically, she wants him to succeed and be happy. Throughout the entire book, Mrs. Tristram is a good pal to Newman.

Even more importantly, she dispenses some killer advice…advice that Newman isn't always inclined to follow.
