• After getting out of the hospital, he starts an affair with the college president, Guert Affenlight.
• Guert dies.
• Owen helps Mike, Henry, and Pella dig up Guert's body and dump it in a lake (we're not even going to attempt to understand this).
• He probably leaves to study in Tokyo.
