Renee Bower

Renee used to be Torey's friend—they even went out for a bit—but lately she's been kind of witchy (feel free to throw a b where that w is). As Torey says to her at the beginning of the book, "'God, remind me never to get on your bad side'" (5.46). Renee seeks to destroy and is super calculated about the rumors she spreads and the outcomes she seeks, a nastiness that is perhaps best exemplified by her decision to tell her dad (who happens to be the Chief of Police) that she heard Torey and Bo confess to killing Chris. You know, even though they didn't. Ugh.
