Mrs. Adams

Torey's mom is not only helpful to Bo as a lawyer, getting him out of legal hot water, but she is also a big part of why Torey is able to figure out the mystery of Chris Creed. Mrs. Adams tells Ali and Torey about Digger Haines, explaining to them them that her hunch is that Chris Creed is alive. It is her belief in the drive to survive that helps Torey figure out at the end that Chris would never kill himself since all his actions thus far show a desperate desire to lead a happy life.
